Section 41
Accounts of the fund
: (1) The fund shall keep the accounts, registers, financial reports of the Deposit Protection Fund, Credit Protection Fund and Deposit Protection Risk Fund separately in accordance with the accounting system according to the Nepal Accounting Standards.
(2) Regardless of what is written in sub-section (1), the international accounting standards shall be taken as a basis in the areas not included in the Nepal Accounting Standards.
(3) In addition to the details mentioned in sub-section (1), other details shall also be kept in the electronic format as determined by the audit committee under section 42.
(4) In the accounts kept according to sub-section (1) or (3), detailed details of the fund's income, financial transactions, real status of investments and liabilities should be clearly mentioned so that the actual status of the fund's operations is known.
(5) All expenses from the fund should be subject to the approved annual program and budget.
(6) The fund shall prepare and publish its balance sheet and income and expenditure account every financial year and be verified by the chief executive officer and the head of the accounting department.
(7) The fund shall prepare an annual report and submit it to the Ministry within six months from the date of the end of the financial year.
